Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering or business discipline or 5+ years of work experience in the aerospace, medical, automotive, or defense industry. You bring 3+ years of experience with project planning and program scheduling, demonstrating your ability to manage complex timelines effectively. Your strong communication skills enable you to clearly convey schedule status and changes to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
You thrive in environments where you can analyze dependencies across workstreams and surface misalignments early. Your proactive approach to identifying risks and blockers allows you to facilitate weekly schedule reviews with engineers and functional leads, ensuring that everyone is aligned and accountable. You are committed to continuously improving how schedules are built and managed, developing tools, templates, and processes as the organization scales.
What you'll do
As a Program Scheduler at Turion Space, you will own the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across multiple programs and spacecraft development efforts. You will partner with engineering, production, and program leadership to develop and maintain realistic schedules that reflect current program progress. Your role will involve facilitating weekly schedule reviews to identify risks, blockers, and critical path items, ensuring that all teams are aligned and informed.
You will analyze dependencies across workstreams and surface misalignments early, driving accountability and transparency in the scheduling process. Your responsibilities will also include performing schedule risk assessments, generating recovery plans, and applying schedule health metrics to drive execution. You will play a crucial role in bringing structure to the chaos of rapid hardware development and multiple launches, contributing to the mission of securing Earth and expanding humanityβs reach beyond it.
