You are familiar with cloud services, particularly AWS, and have experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. You are a proactive learner, always seeking to improve your skills and stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
Desirable
Experience with security frameworks and tools such as OWASP, Burp Suite, or similar is a plus. Familiarity with data processing and telemetry systems will help you excel in this role. You might also have experience in automating security workflows and implementing authentication mechanisms.
What you'll do
As a Software Development Engineer II on the Security Platform team, you will design, build, and operate critical services that enhance Twitch's security posture. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with engineering teams to develop scalable security solutions that protect our platform from various threats. You will dive deep into security data processing, working on projects that automate security workflows and improve our compliance programs. You will contribute to the development of tools and pipelines that handle large-scale security telemetry, ensuring that our systems are robust and secure. You will also engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of security awareness within the team. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest security challenges and contribute innovative solutions to address them.
