What you'll do

As a Staff Scientist at Uber, you will set the science strategy for personalization and marketplace efficiency across the earner experience. You will design, run, and analyze large-scale experiments, ensuring best practices are standardized across teams. Your role will involve building statistical, optimization, and machine learning models in collaboration with engineering partners, focusing on areas such as pricing, supply positioning, and fraud detection.

You will define metrics and observability for product health, creating dashboards and automated analyses to monitor performance and detect regressions. Leading multi-team initiatives, you will guide projects from problem framing through to production and post-launch monitoring, providing technical leadership across multiple roadmaps.
