You have a proven track record in business development or sales, ideally with experience in managing multi-country commercial discussions. Your ability to negotiate effectively ensures that partnerships are beneficial for all parties involved. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating closely with teams across product, legal, and customer success to drive results. You understand the importance of the merchant lifecycle and are skilled at addressing the needs of partners at various stages. Your leadership experience allows you to guide teams towards achieving strategic goals while maintaining a focus on profitability and market consistency.

Desirable

Experience in e-commerce or a related field is a plus, as is familiarity with the operational and technical onboarding processes for partners. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a strategic focus. A background in managing relationships with stakeholders across different countries will set you apart in this role.

What you'll do

As the EMEA Commercial Lead for Uber Direct, you will own all multi-country commercial discussions for the region, playing a critical role in accelerating the go-to-market strategy. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospection to deal closing, ensuring that each partnership is nurtured and extended to additional countries as needed. Your role will involve negotiating terms with partners to ensure consistency in the market while balancing profitability. You will collaborate closely with the Direct country teams to ensure that operational and technical onboarding of merchants is seamless, handing over relationships after the first delivery. Your leadership will be essential in executing the vision and strategy of connecting e-commerce to final consumers, working alongside internal teams including product, finance, and compliance.
