With 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, you've successfully led the design and productionization of end-to-end ML solutions. Your expertise includes deep learning, causal modeling, and reinforcement learning, allowing you to tackle complex marketplace problems effectively.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers, product managers, and scientists to set technical direction and solve challenging business problems. Your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders has been key to your success in previous roles. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and productionization of advanced machine learning models and pricing algorithms that power real-time driver pricing for billions of rides. You will develop novel pricing approaches for online marketplaces, combining machine learning with algorithmic game theory and optimization techniques. Your work will directly impact the earnings opportunities for millions of drivers worldwide.

You will be responsible for solving some of Uber's most complex business challenges, presenting $1B+ opportunities to executive stakeholders. Your role will involve working on cutting-edge marketplace ML problems and real-time multi-objective optimizations, serving over 1 million predictions per second. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical direction of the team, ensuring that your projects align with Uber's broader business goals.
