You possess hands-on experience with generative AI models and are skilled in developing machine learning platforms that facilitate rapid experimentation. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and infrastructure, enables you to define foundational AI services that enhance user experiences across Uber's ecosystem.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build end-to-end AI products, transforming prototypes into scalable production deployments that integrate large language models and multimodal AI into various Uber experiences. You will implement automated evaluation systems that leverage advanced techniques to ensure the quality and performance of AI models. Your leadership will set the architectural direction for AI capabilities, guiding how they are built, deployed, and operated.

You will partner closely with platform and infrastructure teams to establish machine learning system abstractions that enhance Uber's AI capabilities. Your work will involve ensuring the reliability, observability, and cost efficiency of AI systems at scale, making a significant impact on the company's product offerings.
