Overview

Uber is hiring a Learning Specialist III to enhance training and development within the Community Operations team. You'll focus on implementing and delivering training programs while analyzing their effectiveness. This role requires strategic thinking and excellence in training delivery.

Who you are

You have a strong background in learning and development, with experience in facilitating training programs that empower teams to excel in customer support. Your strategic thinking allows you to design effective learning plans that cater to diverse learning needs, ensuring that all employees can thrive in their roles. You understand the importance of analyzing training impact and are skilled at tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of learning experiences. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders makes you a valuable asset to any team.

You are adept at using various training methodologies to deliver engaging and impactful training sessions. Your experience includes facilitating new hire training, cross-training, and upskilling programs that cover product knowledge, processes, and soft skills. You are committed to continuous learning and development, both for yourself and for the teams you support. You thrive in environments that prioritize process efficiency and are passionate about helping others succeed.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with the Community Operations team to implement and deliver on-the-ground process training and personal development training. You will facilitate new hire training sessions, ensuring that all new employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to provide world-class support. You will also drive cross-training initiatives and upskilling programs for existing employees, focusing on both product knowledge and soft skills development.

Your responsibilities will include analyzing training effectiveness and tracking the impact of learning programs on employee performance. You will collaborate with BPO partners to provide L&D support, ensuring that training materials and curricula are aligned with organizational goals. You will play a key role in building a solid foundation for the COE and BPO Learning programs, scaling them to meet future needs and preemptively addressing potential challenges.
