Who you are
You have a solid background in machine learning and AI, with experience in designing and maintaining complex systems. You are skilled in Python and have worked with frameworks like LangChain, demonstrating your ability to develop robust AI solutions. Your experience includes architecting scalable systems and integrating various components to enhance functionality.
You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and other stakeholders to define requirements and ensure compliance. Your strong communication skills enable you to document technical designs clearly and comprehensively, facilitating cross-team collaboration.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design, deliver, and maintain the core platform and AI/LLM components of the Earner Access Investigations Agent. You will be responsible for accurately diagnosing and resolving complex access issues related to documents, background checks, and gigs for earners on the Uber platform. You will architect and develop the agent's architecture, leveraging frameworks like LangGraph and building robust integrations with multiple downstream systems.
You will drive ongoing technical improvements and reliability efforts, focusing on key metrics such as system latency and model precision. Collaborating closely with various teams, you will define requirements and iterate on the agent's behavior to enhance user experience. Additionally, you will implement and maintain the deterministic matching logic and the LLM-based response generation pipeline, replacing complex decision trees with more efficient solutions.
