Who you are

You have a strong background in managing partnerships and expansions, ideally within a fast-paced environment. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to build business models that provide insights into market trends and productivity. You excel at balancing data-driven decision-making with creative problem-solving, ensuring that each new market is positioned for long-term success. Your ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders is essential, as you will be collaborating with municipal governments, airlines, and other industry leaders to unlock new growth opportunities.

You thrive in environments where you can leverage your strategic thinking to stimulate demand and manage multiple launches effectively. Your experience in project management ensures that you can oversee the entire lifecycle of service area expansions, from strategic prioritization to monitoring marketplace health. What you'll do

In this role, you will be at the forefront of Uber's growth strategy in Japan, managing the expansion of service areas that serve as the primary engine for business growth. You will collaborate closely with supply teams to ensure that newly launched areas maintain a healthy supply-demand balance. Your responsibilities will include strategic prioritization and schedule management for multiple launches, as well as monitoring the marketplace health of these areas.

You will also focus on building strong partnerships that leverage Uber's global brand equity. This involves designing and executing collaborative projects with external partners to acquire new customers and increase frequency of use. Your role will require you to demonstrate excellence in end-to-end project management, ensuring that all initiatives align with Uber's strategic goals.
