You have 5+ years of experience in product design, particularly focusing on web experiences. Your portfolio showcases a range of innovative and elegant designs that are both user-friendly and scalable. You understand the importance of balancing user needs with business goals and technical possibilities, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with engineers, product managers, and researchers.

Your expertise in design tools, particularly Figma, allows you to create high-fidelity prototypes and detailed design documentation. You have a strong grasp of interaction design principles and are comfortable leading the end-to-end design process, from initial research to final implementation. You are data-driven and use insights to inform your design decisions, ensuring that the solutions you craft deliver real customer value.

You are a strong communicator, able to articulate your design rationale to various stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively. You enjoy working on projects of varying complexity, from well-defined problems to more conceptual challenges, and you are adept at scoping projects and managing timelines.

Desirable

Experience with modular frameworks and designing for multi-sided marketplaces is a plus. Familiarity with service design and systems thinking will help you excel in this role, as you will need to consider various user contexts and product offerings.

What you'll do

In this role, you will define and craft end-to-end web experiences for Uber's rider platform. You will lead the design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that your designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and scalable. You will conduct user research to build a deep understanding of the users you are designing for, using data to inform your design choices.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions that are thoroughly documented and ready for implementation. Your work will involve creating wireframes, prototypes, and final designs, ensuring that all aspects of the user experience are considered. You will also lead design reviews and solicit feedback from peers and stakeholders to refine your designs further.

As part of the Rider Design team, you will influence product strategy and contribute to the overall vision for Uber's web experiences. You will work closely with engineers to translate your designs into buildable solutions, ensuring that the final product aligns with your original vision while meeting technical requirements.
