Who you are

You have 3+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your visual design skills and user-centered design approach. You excel at synthesizing user research findings into actionable design solutions, ensuring that your designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and user-friendly. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, allows you to create designs that meet both user needs and technical requirements. You are comfortable presenting your work to stakeholders and are open to feedback, always striving to improve the quality of your designs. You understand the importance of creating intuitive workflows for users with varying levels of technical experience, particularly in a fast-paced environment like Uber Eats.

Desirable

Experience with design systems and creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs is a plus. Familiarity with tools like Adobe XD or Sketch can enhance your contributions to the team. A background in working with restaurant or food delivery services can provide valuable insights into the unique challenges faced by merchants.

What you'll do

As a Product Designer II on the Uber Eats Merchant Design team, you will create wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes to solve complex user experience problems. You will present your work in various mediums and fidelities throughout the design process, engaging with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on your designs. Collaborating closely with the user research team, you will integrate findings into your design approaches, ensuring that the tools you create are tailored to the needs of our merchants. You will brainstorm and iterate with your design colleagues and product partners, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation. Your role will also involve working closely with engineers to ensure that your designs are built to a high standard, shipping, measuring, and improving your designs based on both quantitative and qualitative feedback.
