You have a strong background in finance and technology, with at least 5 years of experience in program management or a related field. Your expertise in AI strategy and governance allows you to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with finance leaders and technology teams to drive strategic initiatives.
Your ability to articulate a comprehensive AI roadmap is complemented by your experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, and compliance. You understand the nuances of financial operations and are passionate about leveraging AI to enhance decision-making capabilities. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to translate technical jargon into clear narratives for executive leadership.
What you'll do
In this pivotal role, you will lead the AI Strategy & Governance initiatives within the Finance organization at Uber. You will work closely with Finance Technology leaders to develop and communicate the AI vision, ensuring it aligns with the company's broader strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include acting as the primary liaison to the Gen AI Steering Committees, providing regular updates on program progress and key milestones.
You will coordinate all AI initiatives within Finance, ensuring successful adoption of AI-powered solutions across the finance team. This includes engaging with analysts and executives alike to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. You will lead the AI champion forum, a cross-functional team dedicated to driving AI initiatives forward, and will be responsible for measuring the business value derived from these efforts.
