Uber is seeking a Senior Manager for M&A People to lead complex integrations and develop the M&A People strategy. This role requires deep expertise in People operations and the ability to influence senior leaders.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in managing M&A transactions, particularly in the People domain, with a proven track record of leading high-stakes integrations. Your strategic planning mindset allows you to navigate complex global legal and regulatory frameworks effectively. You are comfortable influencing senior leaders and pushing back on business stakeholders when necessary, ensuring that the M&A process aligns with organizational goals. You possess a deep understanding of employee experience and are committed to delivering a world-class integration process. Your ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights is a key strength, enabling you to drive rigorous due diligence processes and risk mitigation strategies. You thrive in ambiguous environments and are adept at resolving complex integration challenges, including compensation harmonization and HRIS data migration.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and govern a portfolio of concurrent M&A transactions, ensuring end-to-end execution across multiple jurisdictions. You will spearhead the resolution of integration challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies for collective bargaining and global mobility issues. Your responsibilities will include defining success metrics for M&A processes and managing execution risks to ensure a seamless integration experience for employees. You will build and maintain high-trust partnerships with Corporate Development, Legal, and Finance teams, fostering collaboration and alignment on M&A initiatives. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping the M&A People strategy and operational methodology, driving the scalability of the People function within the organization. You will also be accountable for synthesizing complex legal, HR, and cultural data into clear recommendations for deal structuring.
