What you'll do

In this role, you will define the overarching L4 hardware architecture for Uber's autonomous vehicle systems. You will determine optimal sensor placement to ensure comprehensive field of view coverage while considering vehicle aerodynamics. Your responsibilities will include owning the technical roadmap and engaging with key industry partners to influence their future product definitions. You will also solve complex system-level challenges, integrating multiple sensors and ensuring that the hardware meets safety and data collection goals. Your work will directly contribute to the advancement of Uber's autonomous technology ecosystem, leveraging real-world driving data to enhance the capabilities of autonomous vehicles.
