Who you are
You have extensive experience in legal governance, particularly in the realm of AI and privacy regulations. Your background includes working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Security, and Engineering, to ensure compliance with international laws and ethical standards. You are adept at policy development and have a strong understanding of AI-specific legal obligations.
You possess strong analytical skills and can navigate complex legal frameworks, ensuring that AI development aligns with privacy-centric governance. Your ability to communicate effectively with both legal and technical teams allows you to bridge gaps and foster collaboration. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to risk management, particularly in the context of AI.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead AI Program Governance and Policy, determining the applicability of international AI laws and establishing ethical standards for AI development. You will streamline assessments related to Privacy, Safety, and AI, proposing AI-enabled tooling to enhance efficiency. Additionally, you will manage AI Incident Response, reviewing and modifying processes to incorporate AI-specific triggers and regulatory reporting lines.
You will oversee AI Risk Management, maintaining the AI Risk Management Policy and defining a standard risk taxonomy. Your responsibilities will also include advising on adapting security and compliance programs to meet AI-specific legal obligations, ensuring that models satisfy defined accuracy metrics and compliance standards. Furthermore, you will implement Quality Management and Monitoring protocols for AI design, testing, validation, and post-market monitoring.

Unity provides a competitive salary range of $200,000—$250,000 USD, reflecting the importance of this role within the organization.
