You are a talented and experienced Senior Backend Engineer with a strong background in Python and JavaScript. You have a deep understanding of server-side development and are proficient in SQL, enabling you to handle complex data operations effectively. Your expertise in AWS allows you to leverage cloud services for building scalable solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about creating efficient backend systems that support data-driven applications.
You have hands-on experience with data platforms, particularly with Snowflake, and understand the intricacies of data ingestion and orchestration. Your familiarity with tools like Airflow demonstrates your ability to automate workflows and ensure data quality. You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of internal users.
What you'll do
In this role, you will build and operate backend services for the Snowflake data platform, focusing on data ingestion pipelines and reverse ETL processes. You will support the development and maintenance of Airflow workflows for data quality and operational automation. Your responsibilities will include implementing tooling for data governance and compliance, ensuring that the platform operates efficiently and effectively.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that enhance their workflows. Your role will involve troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems, as well as contributing to the design of new features that improve the overall functionality of the data platform.
