What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing backend systems that support Varicent's innovative SaaS solutions. You will work closely with product managers and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your role will involve building and maintaining distributed data pipelines that ensure efficient data processing and retrieval.

You will also be tasked with optimizing existing systems for performance and scalability. This includes conducting code reviews, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing best practices to enhance system reliability. You will collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless integration of data workflows and contribute to the overall architecture of the application.

As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead technical initiatives and drive innovation within the team.
