With 5+ years of experience in software testing, you have a proven track record of building quality processes from the ground up. You possess deep expertise in Java and have experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium. Your creativity and problem-solving skills enable you to design effective test strategies that ensure the reliability and performance of software products. You are also comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management and development, to drive quality initiatives.

What you'll do

As the founding quality engineer for Veeva's new Product Lifecycle Management software, you will own the quality strategy and execution for this high-stakes product. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing test plans, developing automated test scripts, and conducting thorough testing to identify defects before product release. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that quality is integrated into the software development lifecycle from the outset.

You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of quality within the team. Your role will involve analyzing test results, reporting on quality metrics, and continuously improving testing processes to enhance product quality. You will have the opportunity to influence the direction of quality engineering practices at Veeva and contribute to the success of the MedTech product line.
