Your experience includes working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and you understand the intricacies of deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and have excellent communication skills that enable you to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer on the Vault Platform team, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability and reliability of Veeva's enterprise applications. You will tackle complex challenges at a global scale, drawing on your expertise in Java and open-source technologies to make a tangible impact on production systems. Your role will involve designing and implementing robust monitoring and alerting systems, as well as developing CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.

You will collaborate closely with software engineers to enhance application performance and reliability, conducting thorough analyses of system performance and identifying areas for improvement. Your responsibilities will also include incident management, where you will lead efforts to resolve production issues swiftly and effectively, minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless experience for users.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. You will also participate in capacity planning and performance tuning, ensuring that the systems can handle increasing loads as Veeva continues to grow.
