Who you are

You have a strong background in software development and testing, with at least 5 years of experience in roles that emphasize quality assurance and automation. Your expertise in Java and Python allows you to design and implement effective testing strategies that ensure software reliability and performance. You are familiar with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and have experience working in Agile environments, collaborating closely with development teams to promote best practices in quality assurance.

You possess a deep understanding of testing methodologies and automation tools, including Selenium and JUnit, which you leverage to enhance test coverage and efficiency. Your ability to coach developers on designing testable features and selecting appropriate testing levels is a key asset in your role. You are passionate about continuous improvement and advocate for a culture of quality within your team, conducting workshops and training sessions to elevate the team's testing capabilities.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for advocating for quality practices within the Venafi-as-a-Service Engineering group. You will collaborate with development teams to implement continuous testing strategies and improve deployment pipelines. Your focus will be on identifying gaps in test coverage and leading initiatives to enhance the overall quality of the software produced. You will conduct training sessions to share your knowledge of testing methodologies and automation tools, ensuring that the team is well-equipped to deliver secure and robust software solutions.

You will also participate in the design and implementation of testing frameworks that support the development of scalable features. Your contributions will directly impact the security and reliability of the software that protects machine identities for some of the largest organizations in the world. By fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement, you will help the team achieve its goals and make a positive impact in the cybersecurity landscape.
