Veracode is seeking a Principal Account Manager to drive revenue growth within existing enterprise accounts. You have a proven track record in account management, particularly within the technology or security sectors — your experience has equipped you with the ability to identify growth opportunities and execute strategies that drive revenue. You possess strong sales acumen and a strategic mindset, allowing you to navigate complex client needs and align them with innovative solutions. Your relationship management skills are top-notch, enabling you to build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations. You are adept at uncovering customer needs through discovery and mapping them to a value proposition that resonates with enterprise clients.
You are familiar with sales methodologies, particularly MEDDPICC, and can effectively drive the full sales cycle within existing accounts — from qualification to value-based negotiation. Your ability to articulate differentiated value is crucial in helping clients understand the benefits of deeper platform adoption. You thrive in high-impact roles and are passionate about helping clients achieve their risk and security goals through tailored solutions.
Desirable
Experience in the application security market or a related field would be advantageous, as would familiarity with AI-driven solutions. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing client needs and market dynamics. A background in technology sales or account management within enterprise settings will set you apart.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own and drive additional revenue within existing Veracode customers, focusing on account expansion through upsells and cross-sells. You will identify and execute opportunities to grow existing enterprise accounts, ensuring that clients are maximizing their use of the Veracode platform. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough discovery sessions to uncover customer needs and aligning them with Veracode's value proposition. You will drive the full sales cycle within existing accounts, utilizing the MEDDPICC methodology to qualify leads, develop business cases, forecast revenue, and negotiate value-based agreements.
Building and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations will be a critical aspect of your role. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that client needs are met and that they receive the highest level of service. Your strategic mindset will help you identify areas for deeper platform adoption, ultimately leading to increased customer satisfaction and loyalty.
