You are a self-starter with a hunter mentality, always looking for new opportunities to expand your client base. Your expertise in understanding product offerings allows you to become a subject matter expert for key clients, ensuring that you can effectively communicate the value of Veracode's solutions. You are comfortable conducting outbound prospecting and maintaining key relationships, which is essential for educating current and potential clients on products and services.
What you'll do
As a Principal Account Executive at Veracode, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting to closing business. You will develop account and territory sales plans tailored to your assigned customer base, ensuring that you meet your sales quotas and goals. Your role will involve preparing and presenting sales proposals and quotations to clients, showcasing your ability to articulate the value of Veracode's offerings.
You will organize, track, and maintain client account and contact information, as well as prospect updates in the CRM database, ensuring that you have a clear view of your sales pipeline.
