Vercel is hiring a Compliance Automation Engineer to enhance their global compliance posture and manage enterprise risk. You'll work closely with the Governance, Risk, and Compliance team to ensure adherence to security requirements. This role is fully remote for candidates outside of commuting distance to specific offices.

You have a strong background in compliance and automation, with experience in governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage with various stakeholders across the organization. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of compliance in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
As a Compliance Automation Engineer at Vercel, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's compliance posture. You will work closely with the Head of GRC to shape the next iteration of the GRC program, embedding data governance principles and compliance requirements into the business processes. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing automated compliance solutions, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring that the organization adheres to relevant security standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify compliance gaps and recommend improvements. Additionally, you will help educate employees on compliance best practices and foster a culture of accountability and responsibility regarding compliance matters.
