Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within tech or product-focused environments — you've successfully partnered with leadership teams to align people strategies with business objectives and have a proven track record of supporting organizational design and talent management initiatives.

You possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate complex employee relations matters — your experience has equipped you to provide guidance and support to leaders, ensuring they feel prepared to handle difficult conversations and decisions.

You are passionate about fostering high-performing teams and have a knack for identifying and retaining top talent — you understand the importance of aligning team dynamics with organizational culture and values, and you proactively address performance challenges to drive engagement and productivity.

You are data-driven and comfortable using metrics to inform your decisions — you leverage analytics to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement, ensuring that your strategies are effective and aligned with business goals.

Desirable

Experience in a fast-growing tech company or startup environment is a plus — you thrive in dynamic settings and are adept at managing change while maintaining a focus on team well-being and performance.

What you'll do

As a Senior HR Business Partner at Vercel, you will partner closely with EPD leadership to align people strategies with function and business objectives — your role will involve collaborating on organizational design and talent reviews to ensure the right people are in the right roles.

You will support the development of high-performing teams by helping leaders grow and retain top talent — you will proactively address performance challenges and provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring leaders feel supported and confident in their decision-making.

You will play a critical role in shaping Vercel's culture and values within the EPD functions — your insights and strategies will help navigate change and build engaged teams that are aligned with the company's mission.

You will leverage your expertise to facilitate talent management processes, including performance reviews and succession planning — your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness and engagement of teams across Engineering, Product, Data, and Design.
