You have a solid background in software engineering, particularly in building and maintaining robust infrastructure. You are familiar with modern web technologies, especially JavaScript and frameworks like Next.js. What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for triaging, investigating, and resolving complex issues across Vercelβs infrastructure and global edge network. You will collaborate closely with Product, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Core Infrastructure teams to identify root causes of issues and implement fixes that enhance platform stability.
Your work will involve building tooling and automation to improve incident response and observability, ensuring that the development teams can operate smoothly. You will contribute to the underlying code and tooling that powers Vercel's deployment infrastructure, making a direct impact on the developer experience.
You will also participate in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss ongoing projects and share insights on improving platform capabilities. Your contributions will help shape the future of Vercel's offerings, enabling developers to build faster and more personalized web experiences.
