Verkada is seeking an Account Executive for the Mid-Market territory to drive new business and manage the full sales cycle. This role requires at least 2 years of sales experience and effective communication skills.

Who you are
You have at least 2 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying capacity, demonstrating your ability to meet and exceed sales goals consistently. Your highly effective communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with clients and partners, acting as a trusted advisor in the sales process. You are adept at understanding complex products and their place in the market, which allows you to effectively convey their value to potential customers.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting new customers to closing deals. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to maintain accurate pipeline management and expert-level forecasting, ensuring that you can meet your sales quotas. You are proactive in seeking out new business opportunities and are comfortable with outbound phone calls, emails, and online demos.
Desirable
While not required, experience in the physical security industry or a related field would be a plus. Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and an understanding of how technology can enhance safety and efficiency will help you excel in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will source and close new business, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas. You will build an intimate understanding of Verkada's products and their applications in the industry, allowing you to effectively communicate their benefits to potential clients. Managing the full sales cycle will be a key responsibility, which includes prospecting for new customers, hosting online demos, creating proposals, and ultimately closing deals.
You will maintain accurate pipeline management, utilizing expert-level forecasting to track your progress and ensure you are on target to meet your goals. Your role will involve making outbound phone calls, sending emails, and conducting online demos to engage potential customers and showcase Verkada's innovative solutions.
As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will work closely with channel partners and technical support to ensure smooth product launches and to fuel future product growth. Providing market and client feedback to Verkadaβs product and engineering teams will also be an important part of your responsibilities, helping to shape the future of the company's offerings.
