What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Cash App Squad, you will work closely with a talented group of engineers to deliver new features and enhance existing functionalities. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to ensure quality across the team. You will also be responsible for identifying and fixing bugs, as well as reducing technical debt to improve overall system performance.

You will collaborate with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of accounts receivable processes for Versapay's clients, helping to streamline their operations and improve cash flow.

In addition to your development responsibilities, you will play a key role in mentoring junior developers, helping them grow their skills and confidence. You will foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the team, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.

You will also participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions around process improvements and best practices. Your insights will help shape the team's approach to software development, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals.
