You are a licensed Registered Dietitian with expertise in providing nutrition counseling and education to individuals and groups. You understand the importance of a whole-person approach to care and are committed to helping patients improve their health and wellness outcomes. You are familiar with evidence-based treatment methods for obesity and related conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety, and depression. You are adept at using advanced technology to enhance patient care and are comfortable working in a virtual environment.

You have a strong understanding of Medical Nutrition Therapy and Diabetes Self Management Education, and you are skilled at creating personalized nutrition plans that support lasting behavior change. You are knowledgeable about HIPAA, PHI, and industry standards, ensuring that you provide care within the guidelines of your profession. You are passionate about helping others and are motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients' lives.

What you'll do

As a Registered Dietitian at Vida Health, you will be responsible for delivering virtual Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients, guiding them through their journey to better health. You will conduct assessments to understand each patient's unique needs and develop tailored nutrition plans that promote weight loss and overall wellness. You will provide education on managing diabetes and other related conditions, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Obesity Medicine-Certified Physicians, Expert Coaches, and Licensed Therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. Your role will involve regular follow-ups with patients to monitor their progress and adjust nutrition plans as necessary. You will also participate in team meetings to discuss patient outcomes and share best practices for effective nutrition counseling.
