What you'll do

As the VP, Associate General Counsel at VideoAmp, you will take ownership of the company's commercial legal matters, ensuring that all agreements align with business goals and legal standards. You will lead efforts to build out scalable operations and workflows that enhance the efficiency of the legal team. Your role will involve training internal teams on legal compliance and best practices, as well as negotiating high-stakes revenue, partnership, and data licensing agreements. You will provide legal advice on a variety of matters, including product development, data privacy, and marketing strategies, ensuring that VideoAmp remains compliant with all relevant regulations.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and engineering, to support the company's innovative goals and drive results. Your insights will help shape the company's approach to legal challenges and opportunities in the rapidly evolving media landscape. You will also play a key role in fostering a culture of collaboration and mentorship within the legal team, empowering your colleagues to thrive in their roles.
