Collaborative and proactive, you communicate clearly with vendors and internal partners and are motivated by creating structure, visibility, and reliability in financial operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead full-cycle accounts payable operations, including invoice intake, review, coding, approvals, and payment processing. You will manage high volumes of invoices while ensuring accuracy, proper authorization, and adherence to company policies and controls. You will oversee payment runs using multiple methods, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements. Additionally, you will investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and vendor issues by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors. You will ensure compliance with applicable tax and reporting requirements in Canada and the United States, supporting month-end and year-end close activities, including AP accruals and cash reconciliations. You will review and refine AP processes and internal controls, recommending and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
