You have a solid background in backend engineering, particularly with Golang, and understand the intricacies of building scalable systems. What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Voodoo, you will be instrumental in scaling BeReal into an iconic social network. You will work closely with a small team of world-class engineers, shipping new features rapidly while upgrading the infrastructure to handle millions of users connecting simultaneously. Your role will involve analyzing trade-offs in system design and making informed decisions that impact the overall architecture of the application. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that new features align with the product vision and user needs, contributing to the continuous improvement of the app.

You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of code quality and performance, participating in code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers. Your contributions will directly influence the user experience and the growth of the platform as it expands to new countries. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting technical challenges that come with scaling a social media platform, ensuring that the infrastructure remains robust and efficient.
