What you'll do

As a Staff Backend Engineer at Voodoo, you will play a crucial role in the development of the BeReal app, focusing on building a robust architecture that can handle spikes in user activity. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to design and implement new features that enhance user experience. Your responsibilities will include analyzing trade-offs in system design, optimizing performance, and ensuring the reliability of the backend infrastructure. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall technical direction of the team. Your work will directly impact the scalability and success of BeReal as it grows into a leading social network.
