Who you are

You have at least 5 years of experience in Legal HR, demonstrating solid legal skills and reasoning. You are autonomous, organized, and structured, with the ability to adapt and react quickly in a fast-paced environment. Your outstanding verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in both French and English enable you to navigate complex legal discussions effectively.

You thrive in a demanding environment and are eager to support the HR Ops team on daily legal questions related to hiring, onboarding, immigration processes, and employment relationships. Your experience allows you to review HR legal documentation, including employment contracts, amendments, and termination paperwork, ensuring compliance and clarity in all legal matters.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the HR Ops team by addressing their legal inquiries and providing guidance on various HR-related legal issues. You will take the lead on discussions or negotiations that may have legal implications, ensuring that Voodoo's practices align with legal standards. Additionally, you will assist the VP of HR in managing collective labor relations with employee representatives, fostering a collaborative and compliant workplace.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing and drafting legal documents related to employment, advising on best practices for HR operations, and ensuring that all processes comply with relevant laws and regulations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining Voodoo's reputation as a leading tech company by ensuring that all HR practices are legally sound and effectively communicated to all stakeholders.
