Who you are
You are a talented and business-oriented lawyer with experience in the tech industry, ready to join BlaBlaCar's Legal team. You have a strong understanding of legal practice areas such as platform regulation, e-commerce, consumer protection, and commercial contracts. Your ability to work in a fast-growing tech environment is essential, as is your capacity to develop a deep understanding of how BlaBlaCar's product operates. You thrive on building close connections with operational teams and have a keen interest in project management, ensuring that legal support aligns with business objectives.
What you'll do
As a Legal Counsel at BlaBlaCar, your primary mission will be to support the high-speed growth and international expansion of the business. You will work closely with carpool business teams, providing legal advice on various matters including platform regulation and consumer protection. Your role will involve drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and offering marketing legal advice. You will collaborate with a team of approximately 10 legal professionals, reporting directly to the Head of Legal. Your contributions will be vital in navigating the complexities of legal frameworks as BlaBlaCar continues to expand its reach across 21 countries.
