What you'll do

As a Freelance Product Designer at BeReal, you will be part of a small, high-performing product team that reports directly to the CEO — your role will involve identifying key problems and opportunities within the user experience and proposing pragmatic solutions that align with business goals. You will conduct thorough research to understand user behavior and needs, ensuring that your designs are informed by real data.

You will take ownership of the design process from wireframing to creating end-to-end flows and prototypes — your focus will be on designing features that solve user problems in a simple and elegant manner. You will also contribute to building and improving our design system, ensuring consistency and quality across all user interfaces.

Your responsibilities will include defining key metrics for your design solutions and assessing their impact on user engagement — you will work closely with the technical team to implement, test, and iterate on your designs based on user feedback and performance data. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of BeReal as we scale our platform to reach hundreds of millions of users.
