You’re a Product Designer with a passion for scaling social consumer apps — you understand the intricacies of user behavior and are deeply connected to GenZ's drives and desires. You thrive on creating delightful features while being pragmatic about their business impact, ensuring that your designs not only look good but also serve a purpose. You have a strong ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research, allowing you to identify key problems and opportunities effectively.

You are highly driven, autonomous, and results-oriented — you take ownership of your projects and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Your skills range from wireframing to designing end-to-end flows and prototypes, and you have experience implementing and iterating designs in collaboration with technical teams. You understand the technical implications of your design decisions, which helps you create scalable design systems that enhance user experience.

What you'll do

As a Product Designer at BeReal, you will be part of a small, high-performing product team that reports directly to the CEO. You will identify opportunities for improvement in user experience and propose pragmatic solutions that estimate business impact. Your role will involve conducting user research to understand user needs in detail, which will inform your design decisions. You will be responsible for designing features that solve problems in a simple and elegant way, paying attention to every small detail.

You will contribute to building and improving our design system, ensuring consistency across the platform. Your designs will be data-driven, and you will identify key metrics that your solutions should improve, taking ownership of achieving success. You will work closely with the technical team to implement, test, and iterate on your designs, ensuring that they meet user needs and business goals. Your ability to hack together quick prototypes will be invaluable as you iterate on your designs based on user feedback and testing results.
