What you'll do

As a Research Scientist at Waabi, you will design and execute a research agenda focused on deep-learning based motion planning for self-driving technology. You will leverage state-of-the-art techniques in robotics and machine learning to enable safe self-driving at scale. Your work will involve advancing the capabilities of Waabi's high-fidelity, closed-loop simulator, Waabi World, which is crucial for testing and validating autonomous systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to invent new AI technologies that support scalable planning solutions for fully driverless autonomous trucks. Your contributions will directly impact Waabi's vision of a single AI system that learns end-to-end in a provably safe manner. You will also engage in research that pushes the boundaries of current methodologies in perception, prediction, and simulation, ensuring that Waabi remains at the forefront of self-driving technology.
