Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building data pipelines and working with machine learning models. Your background includes hands-on experience with Python and a strong understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, from dataset curation to model evaluation. You are familiar with large datasets and have worked with various data sources, including real-world driving data and simulation environments. You possess a solid grasp of linear algebra and 3D geometry, which aids in your understanding of complex data problems in autonomous driving. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and are eager to contribute to innovative solutions in the field of self-driving technology.

Desirable

Experience with multimodal sensor data such as LiDAR, RADAR, and camera systems is a plus. Familiarity with tools like TensorFlow and Kubernetes will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our projects.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Waabi, you will be embedded within our Autonomy & Algorithms teams, where you will develop the data pipelines necessary for training and evaluating our autonomous platform. You will work closely with a team of world-renowned scientists and software engineers to create scalable solutions that address challenging problems in self-driving technology. Your responsibilities will include generating and managing large datasets, implementing metrics to assess model performance, and collaborating with team members to discover interesting scenarios for model training. You will also be involved in the entire ML development lifecycle, ensuring that our data processes are efficient and effective in supporting our autonomous driving initiatives.
