What you'll do

As a Summer Intern at Waymo, you will join the Predictive Planning team, where you will focus on developing machine learning solutions that predict future states and plan the Waymo Driver's behavior. Your primary responsibility will be to research and implement state-of-the-art generative models using JAX, contributing to the advancement of autonomous driving technology. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and researchers, gaining hands-on experience in a cutting-edge field. Throughout your internship, you will have the opportunity to evaluate the performance of your models and iterate on your designs based on real-world data. You will also participate in team meetings, sharing your insights and learning from others in the field.
