What you'll do

As a Summer Intern at Waymo, you will work closely with industry leaders on projects that aim to improve the Waymo Driver's capabilities. Your primary focus will be on developing and fine-tuning machine learning models that learn from real-world driving data. You will explore various techniques, including reinforcement learning and contrastive learning, to enhance the model's ability to navigate complex scenarios. You will participate in team meetings, contribute to discussions, and collaborate with engineers and researchers to drive the project forward. Your work will directly impact the development of autonomous driving technology, making it safer and more efficient.
