You have a solid background in risk management and insurance, ideally with experience in the automotive or technology sectors. Your analytical skills allow you to evaluate complex risk scenarios and provide actionable insights. You are a strong communicator, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of risk are considered in business decisions. You understand the nuances of product liability and emerging risks in the context of autonomous driving technology. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and developing strategies to mitigate them. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable navigating the complexities of a rapidly evolving industry.
Desirable
Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry or a related field would be a plus. Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks surrounding autonomous driving is also beneficial. You have a keen interest in technology and its implications for risk management, and you are eager to learn and adapt as the industry evolves.
What you'll do
As a Claims Advocate at Waymo, you will play a crucial role in shaping the risk management strategies for our autonomous driving technology. You will work closely with legal, public policy, safety, security, and privacy experts to evaluate and manage risks associated with our products. Your responsibilities will include advising on insurance trends and evaluating product liability, auto, cyber, and related risks. You will collaborate with business development, product partnership, strategy, and operations teams to ensure that the company's interests are well protected from existing, new, and emerging risks. You will also support the execution of business plans and contribute to the development of appropriate risk and insurance frameworks to protect our users.
What we offer
Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $125,000—$157,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
