You have a strong background in environmental, health, and safety management, with experience in developing and implementing EHS management systems. You understand the complexities of compliance with local and national regulations and have a proven track record of working with regulatory authorities and stakeholders. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to effectively convey safety strategies and policies to diverse audiences. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to conduct thorough safety engineering analyses. You are passionate about promoting safety in autonomous driving technology and are committed to continuous improvement in EHS practices.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop and implement a comprehensive EHS management system tailored to Waymo's EMEA operations, ensuring alignment with Waymo’s Global EHS Standards. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local and national environmental, health, and safety regulations. You will collaborate with various teams to promote safety strategies and policies, advising on compliance matters and conducting safety engineering analyses. You will also engage with regulatory authorities, lawmakers, and public organizations to advocate for safety in autonomous vehicles. Your role will involve continuous monitoring and improvement of EHS practices, ensuring that safety is prioritized throughout the design and development of Waymo’s technology.
What we offer
Waymo offers a competitive salary range of £110,000—£119,000 GBP, along with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
