What you'll do
As a Staff Data Scientist at Waymo, you will take ownership of the safety metrics that are critical to our autonomous driving technology. Your primary responsibility will be to simplify and validate these metrics, ensuring they meet the needs of various stakeholders. You will work closely with engineering teams to understand the software stack and how it impacts safety metrics. Your role will involve analyzing data to provide expert recommendations on metric interpretations and improvements.
