What you'll do

As a Staff Data Scientist at Waymo, you will play a critical role in the Safety Evaluation team, ensuring that our autonomous driving systems meet the highest safety standards. You will collaborate with engineers to evaluate machine learning models and validate their performance against safety principles. Your work will involve analyzing vast amounts of data generated from real-world driving and simulations to identify potential safety issues and areas for improvement.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative machine learning techniques that address the complexities of collision evaluation.
