You have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in developing and executing validation test plans for hardware systems. You understand the intricacies of high-speed and low-speed interfaces, voltage regulators, and power delivery networks, and you are comfortable working closely with both electrical and software teams to ensure comprehensive testing. Your curiosity drives you to explore innovative solutions, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can contribute to the development of cutting-edge autonomous driving technology.

You possess hands-on experience with electrical validation testing, covering silicon, board, and system levels. You are adept at driving validation processes to meet key performance metrics, and you have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all aspects of the hardware are rigorously tested. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams allows you to navigate complex engineering challenges and contribute to the overall success of projects.

Desirable

Experience with embedded systems and familiarity with tools such as LabVIEW will be advantageous. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, and you are motivated by the mission of improving mobility and safety through autonomous driving solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive board-level and module-level validation test plans for Waymo hardware. You will collaborate closely with electrical engineers and software teams to ensure that all validation processes are thorough and effective. Your responsibilities will include executing electrical validation tests for silicon, board, and system levels, focusing on high-speed and low-speed interfaces, voltage regulators, and power delivery networks. You will drive and execute validation efforts to meet key performance metrics, ensuring that the hardware meets the rigorous standards required for autonomous driving technology.

You will also be responsible for documenting test results and providing feedback to the engineering teams to facilitate continuous improvement. Your role will involve analyzing data from validation tests to identify trends and areas for enhancement, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of Waymo's hardware products. You will participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss validation strategies and share insights with your colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
