What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the bring-up and validation of advanced DRAM subsystems, including DDR, LPDDR, and HBM. You will collaborate with design verification and emulation teams to ensure that the silicon meets performance and reliability standards. Your work will involve characterizing the DRAM subsystems to optimize their integration into the overall compute platform. You will also participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during the validation process, ensuring that the hardware meets the stringent requirements of autonomous driving applications.

You will engage in continuous improvement efforts, providing feedback to design teams based on validation results. Your contributions will directly impact the performance of the Waymo Driver, enhancing the safety and efficiency of autonomous vehicles. You will work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site collaboration with remote flexibility, and report to the Hardware Engineering Manager.
