You have a strong background in software engineering, particularly in the context of hardware validation and testing. Your experience includes working with silicon test fleets and understanding the intricacies of autonomous driving technology. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for improving mobility solutions through technology.

Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart. You are adaptable and willing to align your work hours with teams in different time zones when necessary.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the silicon test fleet that supports Waymo's autonomous driving technology. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure that the compute platform operates at peak performance. Your work will directly contribute to the development of the Waymo Driver, enhancing its capabilities and reliability.
You will engage in testing and validation processes, ensuring that the silicon meets the required performance standards. This includes developing test plans, executing tests, and analyzing results to provide feedback for improvements. You will also document your findings and work closely with engineers to troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing.
