You are adept at collaborating with manufacturing partners, providing guidance and troubleshooting support to ensure production testers are effectively brought up and maintained. Your analytical skills enable you to conduct thorough failure analysis on PCBA and photonic modules, allowing you to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

You possess strong documentation skills, which are essential for specifying tester requirements and managing vendor relationships. What you'll do

In this role, you will develop and maintain hardware and software for test stations, focusing on PCBA and module-level testing. You will provide technical leadership to manufacturing partners, guiding them in the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production testers. Your responsibilities will include conducting failure analysis on production fallouts, allowing you to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. You will also develop product troubleshooting and rework procedures, ensuring that all processes are efficient and effective.

Documentation will be a key part of your role, as you will be responsible for specifying tester requirements and managing relationships with tester vendors. This will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that all testing equipment meets the necessary specifications and standards. You will play a crucial role in integrating hardware solutions into vehicle platforms, contributing to the overall success of Waymo's autonomous driving technology.
