You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong background in developing and deploying ML models that drive real-world applications. Your expertise in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow and Keras allows you to build robust machine learning solutions that can scale effectively. You are familiar with generative AI techniques and understand how to apply them to create realistic simulations that enhance autonomous driving technologies.
Your experience includes working with large-scale datasets, and you have a solid understanding of data analysis techniques that inform model training and validation. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside software engineers and ML researchers to push the boundaries of simulation technology. You are passionate about improving safety and mobility through innovative solutions and are eager to contribute to a mission-driven team.
Desirable
Experience with 3D world modeling and simulation environments is a plus, as is familiarity with advanced generative and reconstructive algorithms. What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of the Simulator Team at Waymo, where you will develop state-of-the-art simulations that model realistic environments for testing and validation of the Waymo Driver. You will leverage your machine learning expertise to create dynamic and semantically rich virtual worlds that directly impact the development of autonomous driving technology. Your work will involve pushing the frontiers of 3D world modeling to enhance the fidelity and scalability of simulations.
You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of engineers and researchers, contributing to the design and implementation of advanced simulation solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing algorithms that model agents, traffic systems, and environmental conditions, ensuring that simulations are as realistic as possible. You will also be involved in the evaluation and optimization of simulation performance, using data-driven insights to refine models and improve outcomes.
