What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Mapping Operations team at Waymo, focusing on building and continuously improving high-definition maps that power our autonomous driving system. You will analyze map quality issues, identifying fundamental root causes and generating robust solutions that enhance our mapping processes.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams, serving as a vital connector between operations and technical development. Your insights will drive improvements in our mapping workflows, ensuring that our vehicles have an accurate and up-to-date understanding of the world.

You will also be responsible for developing metrics to assess map quality and operational efficiency, using data to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Your leadership will help shape the future of autonomous driving technology, contributing to Waymo's mission of improving mobility and safety on the roads.
